Last week, I referenced an article — “Need a New Barometer for Stocks? Try the Price of Oil” — which discussed Oil prices as a leading directional indicator for the stock market.
The NYT has started charging for their articles after one week; So here’s the link to the PDF of the full research piece: “Striking Oil: Another Puzzle.”
As a side note, I resent having to pay for on-line versions for a paper I subscribe to. I subscribe to Barron’s, and for an annual fee, I have access to all of their articles. I wish the NYT would do the same . . .
Please use the comments to demonstrate your own ignorance, unfamiliarity with empirical data and lack of respect for scientific knowledge. Be sure to create straw men and argue against things I have neither said nor implied. If you could repeat previously discredited memes or steer the conversation into irrelevant, off topic discussions, it would be appreciated. Lastly, kindly forgo all civility in your discourse . . . you are, after all, anonymous.
