Radio Economics part II

Posted By Barry Ritholtz On September 15, 2005 @ 5:35 am In Commodities,Economy,Media | Comments Disabled

I did another Radio Economics [1] interview this week (here [2]).

This time, it was with Dr. Mark Thoma or Economist’s View [3]. We discuss the economic impact of Katrina, including the expected impact on inflation, interest rates, unemployment, future tax cuts, the budget deficit, consumer spending, national debt, and whether the Fed will monetize the debt.

Its always interesting having these discussions with someone from the Academic side of things — I like hearing a diifferent approach and perspective on Macro issues.
