Email of the Week

I get all sorts of emails, ranging from frothing-at-the-mouth Bulls to doom-and-gloomers that make my views look tame. The only consistent unifying theme between all of them are the misspellings.

So whenever I get a particularly nice email — or something from the porn industry — I feel compelled to share it.

After giving a thumbs up to IBM prior to earnings, this came in:

    Please, Barry, don’t mispell, even as a joke. I read enough poorly written emails from coworkers.

    Folks who write poor-quality emails shift part of the cost of communicating onto their readers. It annoys the cr@p out of me.
