What would then be fitting is the teller giving the “Bank Robber” an IOU, with of course, the usual complimentary Ben and Hank commemorative wooden nickel.

All satire should have an element of meaness in it…I am wondering at this point if the bailout of the GSE’s, the future needs of the FDIC, backstopping mortgages, stimulus plans…basically what the federal government is proposing to get us out of this mess have exceeded a limit…FDIC included…

There is a term in physics called the Schwarzchild radius..it is the limit in a black hole where even energy cannot escape the gravitational bounds of the mass of the black hole…I am wondering if the fed and treasury are backing up to their Schwarzchild radius..where they will have guraranteed so much money that even if they see their mistake, that the dollar will not be able to escape…

Now back to your regularly scheduled program…

    Two words: “fractional reserve.”

You can take that to the bank.

But you may not be able to take it out again.

Those in Argentina would not find it funny, and neither will we.

like all ‘Bank Robbers’, this one, too, is Stoopid–there is no Money in any bank account. As a matter of fact, Banks are legally proscribed from dealing in Money, at all, merely Cash & Credit.

    to be literal.

Past that, Kimo’s take is, sadly, apt.
