Biggest question for Geithner: You were the one appointed by the Fed to interface with Wall Street over derivatives issues. Why didn't you see the problems coming before they happened, and urge a change in policy before a disaster happened? Others did see it coming (Ron Paul, James Grant, and others), so what makes you so qualified to be Treasury Secretary when you failed at your most critical task?

Q1 - "....Is there a need for 12 regional banks now....."?

From this numbskull (me) point of view and in the spirit of capitalism - imo the Regional Banks should be required to watch over their region and report on their regions trade and account deficits to the other regions and the world. Kinda like a Super Bowl of Regional Business structure. Promote financial investing inside their region with its own resources when possible. PayGo and Balance. Push for credit cards revenues and losses invested back into the region from within.

2> Corporate Balance
