		<description>Barry, have you considered putting a redirect  on your old blog? A Meta refresh redirect wouldn&#039;t interfere with any of your already built up rankings with Google or others. It would slowly redirect that traffic, and that credability to your new blog. 

Ask your geeks about it. 

Stick this code in your old blog and when a user loads the page, it will redirect in 2 seconds to the new site.
