Asian currencies continue to sell off vs the $ on the heels of the news yesterday that South Korea said they will look into hot money inflows stemming from the $ carry trade and the Bank of Indonesia said they are looking into the foreign buying of bills. I must be reading this wrong, or I simply can’t count, because based on the table above I read 228 “No” and
205 “Yes”. Is this the first pass of the bailout, the one that was voted down?

it has to be, that was the reported Roll Call # on the version that ‘failed’–the first vote.
