I spent the last year and a half long in SKF. A smart move considering the company stock that made up a chunk of my bonus ended up trading in the pennies. I can't understand anyone being heavily invested in their company's stock after the Enron fiasco.

BAC owns a large stake in CCB from before CCB's IPO. The lockup on these shares just expired. They also had an option to increase their stake to 19.9% at a strike that is nearly half the current price of CCB. What they have done is exercised this option. What they can do now is sell the shares that are now out of lockup and book profits while still maintaining their overall stake in CCB. To not increase their stake through deep in the money options would have been criminal.
