On a side (but related) note, your freebies link, Barry, point to the EVil Empire (AMAZON.COM), where the marketing whiz think it is ok to force me to create a full account just to download one free song.
I wrote them that they need to learn the definition of free.
I went to David and Brian’s site, and got the song in exchange for my e-mail and zip code.
AMAZON is really starting to show what it really is.

Give these a try, particularly if you liked the Vampire Weekend and Coldplay albums.

Hmm, might be worth checking… My desire to look for any new music was severely (nigh mortally) wounded by the whole early 00s period of boy band/britney simpson/numetal, and everything basically sounded like weaksauce versions of better, more original performers…

I mean, if you have Miles, James Brown, Bach, and Zeppelin, who else do you _really_ need? ;)

(then again, recommend _Hard & Phirm_, _Fantomas_, _Dragonforce_, _MC Frontalot_, I guess I do keep trying to find new stuff that doesn’t suck manatee balls..)
