요!쾌남의 생각...

사람들의 불안감이 얼마나 큰가를 재려면, 그들에게서 현금을 받는 대신 얼마나 큰 프리미엄을 대가로 줘야 하는가를 보면 된다. So, I’ll Pay You to Hold My Cash, Whhaaat?!...

It strikes me that this would be a perfect time to re-visit Dubya's desire to open a second SPR. I'll bet we could negotiate some excellent long-term contracts for 750B barrels of oil at a very reasonable fixed price, payable only in dollars.

Of course, given Clueless George's gaping negotiating skills chasm, it would probably be necessary to have Obama bring this about, as it's never gonna get past the Congress otherwise.

And the major dividend this would immediately pay is a modicum of stability in the world, with oil producers that have standing armies (and nukes) choosing to make money rather than try military blackmail to keep their nations solvent. Longer term, the profits from a cheap purchase of 750B barrels of oil speak for themselves.

After my humble opinion this café was set up to bring the 'best and brightest' together to solve the many problems there are.

What do we get?

A guy that advertises in the first paragraph where to go if you are bigger then 1.5 million and where to go if you have less to spend.

Further down the line this guy questions as why folks are that stupid to invest in Treasuries with a negative interest.

I think this is rather logical: when there is too much money to 'describe' the actual wealth in that local economy, this is only a starter. Next chapter of that story is too much money destroying itself and isn't that just the case as we observe it on the S&P for example?

The guy that wrote this article is only a servent to the 'too much money' folks, why bow for fake money if you have a real brain for yourself???

No, this is a lousy article coming from a guy serving folks with still too much money without delivering real economical value to the rest of the folks running around.

The party is over!
The party is over!

However, my friends and I have an alternative party you might be interested in. It will be different this time. Just bring a few cool million and we'll set you up...

PS we are moving from permanent box seats to my basement because of the commute, really.

@Gregor0658:
Site owners determine the comments policy. It makes sense to require a login because of a weird and utterly useless phenomenon called "comment spam". So yes, the majority of blog admins will (or darned well should) require registration and a login in order to post a comment.

Additional note: "commenting" isn't "chatting" there's a world of difference between the two. Obviously, I knew what you meant, and perhaps you wrote in haste - not the first time any of us have done that! :)

Further note: "Piqued" http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/piqued - in particular, see def. 3
"3.	to excite (interest, curiosity, etc.): Her curiosity was piqued by the gossip"

That's not to be nasty or unkind in any way, but more as a poke in the ribs - (accompanied by a grin)

Barry;
This post was confusing. I was several paragraphs in before I realized that it actually wasn't you.

albnyc Says: "WTF???"
I'm back from my puppy kindergarten class. I have a headache for that post above.
I apologize all for the thread hijack, one thought lead to another. I need to learn to stay inline myself. Barrys site is not a launch site. The cafe is not a coffee shop.
I'm sorry. My last post for awhile. I'm truely sorry.
"There are things in today’s markets that are simply astounding. They should not exist, yet they do"

The byline confused me at first, even more so because Barry's a Zep Head and I didn't know how he resisted using the title "What Is and What Should Never Be" rather than this oh-so-very-close-even-if-not-quite-the-same paraphrasing.

~~~~
BR: Ooops! I fixed the byline.
Yeah, that would have been a much better title . . .
if I peeked your interest ...
http://www.bloggernews.net/118981#comment-821296
my post that won't take (yet):
the superduper advertiser of info "TV" just opened my eyes to this story
1st - interesting story
2nd - I am stopping to post because of my wonderings on the Gov (in distress) Blagojevich situation here in my state. I've been seeing a gathering storm of the Democrats and Republicans (for that matter) dumping on him for some time. I can't recall over the last couple years solid reasons WHY (except the Mell relationship) ... I thought not much of it, because, (um typical doings) ... until the charges of improper conduct on money raising cuffed him into the hot lights.
The only item I hear in my circles is from a trucker friend of mine. "Gov-bag-o-shit" didn't up the speed limit beyond 55mph here in IL and thats all it takes sometimes.
Funny (not really) what a family has to do when your family (um), friends, local community, country and world community cuts you loose and says your on your own. Birds and Tribes. (of a feather flock together).
ps - before I close this posting - what ye all say on WIRETAPPINGS - I know we need a GOOD world but - what ye all say on WIRETAPPINGS?
