Yes, IMO, the oversight of most federal agencies such as the FDA and FTC has become significantly degutted and denutted over the 28 years since the Reagan Revolution made government the problem, not the solution.  

I yearn for a return to the days of truth in advertising instead of unfounded weight-loss compounds and energy supplements being marketed with abandon, etc., etc., etc.

There is an IMPORTANT role for government, and it is time people began to realize it again, IMO.</description>
