I wish Kimmel had left out the gunshot. There are not too many guns in America, just too much gun-related violence. Besides..let Madoff rot in a prison with “common criminals”…make sure everyone knows that white-collar crime will be dealt with in that way…and we will see a lot less graft and grifting. …only Madoff never promised investors 40% returns, the returns were claimed to be 9-10%. I see this point overlooked by many in the public who seek to vilify the victims of this scam as greedy people who should have known better and were just chasing returns that couldn’t have been possible.

Asian currencies continue to sell off vs the $ on the heels of the news yesterday that South Korea said they will look into hot money inflows stemming from the $ carry trade and the Bank of Indonesia said they are looking into the foreign buying of bills.
