Bizarre indeed.

They may pull it off. For a while. But the fundamentals are still there. Pay me now pay me later. Who gets to bail in the interim.

And yeah. Shorty is definitely on the ropes for a while. At least that's the plan.

Up OK. Down. Not allowed.

Great synopsis, Jack. Feels like October/Nov/Dec all over again but fundamentals getting worse, albeit at a declining rate. I guess fundamentals don't matter in the market la-la land sometimes, but this is a bit bizarre.

"Better enforcement of these rules..."

Exactly!
This has been noted may times on this site and many others, but what we need more than any new rules and regulations is simply for the SEC and other regulatory agencies to find thier teeth and cojones and diligently enforce laws, rules, and regulations already on the books.

The last thing we need are more congressional hearing and investigations by committees to come up more rules.

"“No one loves the messenger who brings bad news.” Sophocles"

There really is much to learn from ancient Greek thinkers long dead. Hopefully Washington can find its way out of the cave and see reality for what it actually is.
