At times, my sense is, some are deliberately trying to "inject noise" and uncertainty simply in the hope that it will provide more belief in an upside than a downside, and that that in and of itself can make a difference. And that upside hope will give things a bump now. But we still have to deal with earnings. Northern Observer is probably right.
