You should probably see Bill Moyers Journal on the Pecora Commission. It was an excellent piece although it does get a little too repetitive toward the end. Enjoy.

Regarding this item:
(2) QUALIFICATIONS; LIMITATION-

(A) IN GENERAL- Individuals appointed to the Commission shall be United States citizens having significant experience in such fields as banking, regulation of markets, taxation, finance, economics and housing.

(B) LIMITATION- No person who is a member of Congress or an officer or employee of the Federal Government or any State or local government may serve as a member of the Commission.

Unfortunately, it has no limitation regarding members of failed financial institutions, so you can be sure that the guys who are chosen will be the best that banker's money can buy.

Obama's apparent continuation of coddling the IBs has been a bitter pill to swallow.

Hopefully this indicates a beginning of the end.

Some of these fuckers need to be frogwalked....seriously.
