Multiply this by nearly every institution in America and you’ve got the big picture, total corruption. GAME OVER.

It’s great to talk about this stuff after the fact, huh?

“Gee Dad, how those rascals get away with it? Well son, you need to understand something about the majority of Americans, they’re fat, aloof and just plain dumbed-down from their idiot boxes. They’ve let their government become huge, expensive and corrupt and they’re too stupid to do anything about it. The only thing they can do now is to talk about it after the damage is done. It keeps them from getting bored I guess….”

We would have to put in jail too many people, from CEO’s on down. There is no will and probably not enough money to investigate, indict and prosecute all of the thousands of criminals involved. Think of it, the banks, investment banks, mortgage companies, AIG, and the ratings agencies. Combined with the real estate agents and the scam artists at the lowest level.

There is no will to prosecute those who are guilty of war crimes, much less a “little” white collar mortgage fraud. (cough)

Those who hold all of the ill gotten gains at the top sure ain’t pushing for any investigations, that is for sure and they aren’t talking, either.

    ronin,

    to your point:
“The reality is we are fast approaching a genuine surveillance society in the United States – a dark future where our every move, our every transaction, our every communication is recorded, compiled, and stored away, ready to be examined and used against us by the authorities whenever they want. The ACLU has created this Surveillance Clock to symbolize just how close we are to a “midnight” of a genuine surveillance society.”
