Asian currencies continue to sell off vs the $ on the heels of the news yesterday that South Korea said they will look into hot money inflows stemming from the $ carry trade and the Bank of Indonesia said they are looking into the foreign buying of bills. This follows the news a few weeks ago that Taiwan was limiting foreign deposit holdings and Brazil was taxing foreign inflow transactions. You know, after watching this…perhaps it would be a good idea if this exercise was just canceled. Some of the humor was just execrable…

I think it’s a little funny that it takes a non traditional president to show how lame these events are.
They were lame when Reagan did them too, but we didn’t see it because of who we are.
Mind you from my perspective the Cheney quip was 10/10

I thought the reason for it was to poke fun at the current president but as usual no one would dare say a word about the obamamessiah.
