A bill has even been proposed to Congress requiring an audit of the Federal Reserve. Yesterday on CNBC, Jim Grant offered some insight into the possibililty of such an audit.

Careful. Jim Grant could be public enemy #1 for the FR crime syndicate. Judging by the e-mails Bull$hit Ben and other FR officials made about Ken Lewis/BOA, I don’t think they take directed criticism lightly. Thanks to Jim Grant for speaking up.

The Federal Reserve is the underlying problem for this entire financial crisis. If you think this financial debacle was an accident, you need to enlighten yourself. G. Edward Griffin wrote a book called “The Creature from Jekyll Island”. In a speech in 1994 he tells the story of the Fed’s creation. The conclusions he draws at the end of the speech are all coming true 15 years later. Very scary! If you have never listened to this speech, do yourself a favor and invest 73 minutes of your time.

Whats her name .. the cute one at the end of the table… said not a word after Jim mentioned the possibility of a bubble in skirts. I don’t think he was getting at her, he just made a Freudian slip. I would be likely to make a similar mistake in the same situation.
Where can I go to vote for Jim Grant for head of the Federal Reserve? What??? you mean to tell me that the most important economic/political position in the world is not elected by the common people?
