I’ve been reading The Creature From Jekyll Island , a second look at the Federal Reserve, by G Edward Griffin.

I nearly didn’t start because its hard going and I’m not a big conspiracy theory freak but many aspects of the book resonate with the current crises. If there is even a fairly small amount of truth in it, easy money and greed (not to mention power, corruption and the ability to shake the world) have been lurking on Wall Street for a long time.
