Barry, you should try making additional add revenue by doing product mentionings on your blog. Mixing it into the the blurb. The Geithner Story is a perfect way. The SeiMatic cabinetry is so beautiful and yes I would love having sex in that kitchen. And If I could afford it, like it was a pinto, I would buy it, no doubts about it. I am not jealous of those who can afford such luxuries. It's artistic, functional, and looks great.

As I said, Lazarus may make come back: http://www.cnbc.com/id/31119144

CNBC is now trying to rehabilitate their fanboi Goldman who accepted and reported uncritically all the lies Apple told him.

Will be interesting seeing how high they can pump the stock.

greg:

learned through hard experience that it can take awhile for external problems to filter through into the stock prices. Cars are a big ticket item, so putting off buying them or buying cheaper was obvious. People who were told this spring that the recession will be over by fall might not put off buying an iPhone with a two year contract or put off buyng a Mac until it finally dawns on them that things are worse than they have been told. Then it takes til the end of the quarter to really get the news.

Look how long it took for the crash of last fall to occur after it became obvious that we were in deep doo doo.

You also have the Steve Jobs reality distortion field that causes even otherwise rational people who post comments on blogs to think AAPL is somehow immune to outside economic factors :)

That's why I spoke about buying Jan puts.

Mike-

6-8 months? That's kinda like Warren Buffet ain't it? $5 Canadian says Apple is higher than it is now, 6 -8 months from now. We'll let Mannwich hold the wager.

Boy, just got back from a family dinner and it looks like I really started some sh!t with the talk of shorting AAPL, but it always becomes a religious war when you disceuss them. I'm not a fan of Jobs and ths snob thing, but that's not how I cam up with the idea. Was just talking fundamentals. At some point, the economy catches up with everyone. Ask BMW and Saks... and Timmy.

That's my view and how I'm gonna play it. We'll see in 6-8 months who's right.
