I really like Bing's farecast tool (formally live.com's farecast which was formally simply farecast). Excellent resource to let you know if you really should buy now or wI really like Bing's Farecast. This is one of Microsofts great purchases of the past few years. Being able to know whether to buy your tickets NOW or whether to wait a few weeks is a huge money saver.

Also be sure to check for coupons for your favorite flight services. Expedia and Travelocity often have coupons that can save you a bit, http://www.offers.com/f/flights/ & the Flyertalk.com forums are great places to keep an eye on the latest deals.
