I like Dylan and haven’t really watched Fast Money since he left but it seems he was less interested in interviewing and more in pushing his views. It was a totally different aspect and I was put off by it.

And I watched another video – http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/31684154#31684154 where he does not even let the main guest (Matt Taibbi) speak at all.

I hope he stops doing that and goes back to asking meaningful questions rather than doling out his opinion everytime.

It has been my experience that you interrupt a pregnant woman at your own peril.

I’ve always liked how Dylan handles conversation. Yes, he interrupts, but his segments are never stagnant. I enjoy watching, but I probably wouldn’t want to be interviewed by him (because I believe everything I say is fascinating). He covers more ground quicker than anyone else on TV.

I think you did just fine, Barry.

It was great to see Dylan back out there again (and you too of course).

I wish he could get slotted against SquawkBox somewhere. IMO, there is a huge blue-collar audience for real financial market analysis just waiting to be scooped up by somebody.

I used to play hooky from school so I could watch Guiding Light and All My Children. When I grew I found a job where I could watch my stories and get paid for it. After Guiding Light, Cramer, Santelli and Kudlow have the best plot line in the business.

Do you find out about these things last minute, Barry? I was up around 6:25 AM Pacific but didn’t turn on the computer/TV till 6:45. I would have had I known last night though.

selective mute..that is a great idea, you’re your own producer of sorts, although i like Dylan, i’d let him talk on my tv, other hosts, not so much.

I have an idea.
Somebody will patent it and you will all see on TV’s
sometime in the future
.. selective mute.. that way I could, for example,
mute Dylan and still hear what Barry has to say

Just ran a clip of a crying South Carolina governor (Sanford?) with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” in the background. AYE! Too much.

Now Dylan’s leading a discussion on healthcare, which he does well (indicating good command of the topic) but if his audience consists of seniors, he’s talking waaaaaaay too fast.
