The puppet president notion is one I’ve been developing for some time. Who is Obama’s puppet master, a la Putin/Medvedev? Obvious candidates like R. Emanuel, H. Paulson, BB, etc. don’t cut it for me. What about former Pres. Clinton? Remember the question to poor Hilary when she was in Africa? “What does your husband think about that?” I forget the topic. I don’t think Soros, though many conservatives do.

I don’t think the ones pulling the strings would be very well known to anybody in the public. That is not their M.O. That is why they have puppets, so they can remain in the shadows. They are not for fame like their puppets but for power. In case anything backfires they can just fade into the woodwork while they let the puppets burn in effigy to them.

I am sorry Barry, but you have not been paying attention. It has ALWAYS been socialism for the rich. It’s just soooo obvious now that everybody can see it. All systems are corrupt, it’s only a matter of degree.

I especially appreciate your depiction of the Goldman Conspiracy/Socialist Conspiracy is a bipartisan, or rather, a nonpartison effort. I have thought that for a long time. That is why we can’t have a third party. That would make life just too darn difficult.

Who was W’s puppet master? Surely not Cheney or Rove? Far too obvious. Carter was surely a puppet. But enough of this game. What do we do to protect ourselves?

Darn, I wish I’d put in a bigger garden! Here’s another funny, but possibly related, thing – none of the companies whose stock I own have cut their dividends, and many have raised them. Does this make me (an unwitting) part of the the GC? Sure hope not!

I agree with the “meaning” of the picture. But, once again, the term “socialism” is being used in a way very different than in the past.

“Socialism” was all about spreading profits as well as costs among the populace. The “‘socialism’ for rich” is “*profits*” for the rich and costs spread around.

I believe the misuse of the term socialism reflects the bias some people have against it. They’re giving the present clusterf*ck a label of something they dislike.

Note that another word for “Socialst/Capitalist” model is “Fascist”. Russia’s been a practicing fascist for several years now.
