Europe’s Week Ahead: Focus on Banks

The banking sector will be the focus of attention in Europe, with earnings announcements from the likes of HSBC and UBS, while the Bank of England is set to decide on whether to expand its asset purchase program.

The central banks of Australia and Indonesia will meet next week to consider monetary policy. Toyota is also expected to report a net loss for the second quarter. MarketWatch’s Polya Lesova reports.
