This is a very cool depiction of every space mission over the past 50 years, overlaid on one map of the solar system

Each line traces the path of a different space mission or satellite launch.

Notable missions (including failures) are included, as are those from different countries . . .

    Thanks for posting this–it’s the coolest thing I’ve seen in days! The 10-billion-mile trip (so far!) of Voyager 1 is simply mind-boggling, and it’s great to see it all these missions in one image.

    I wonder if it’s just because of my age that I love this so much, remembering when so many of those missions happened.
    For those of you with children is space still the amazing thing for children it was 30 years ago? Looks like a great uncle gift.
