I just saw this blog post, "The greatest theft in American history" http://theautomaticearth.blogspot.com/2009/10/october-24-2009-greatest-theft-in.html And I also think it's well worth the read as it is looking to me like the government is indeed attempting to raise the home prices through more more sub prime lending.
