@MEH 5:37pm — In all fairness, an iPhone has to be both “jail-broken” (firmware-modified to allow non-Apple applications to install and run), AND have SSH (Secure Shell) enabled for this “worm” to affect the phone. Neither is true for a “stock” iPhone.

This is more or less the equivalent of removing your front door entirely, placing a big. flashing “welcome thieves” neon sign on your front lawn, and then complaining that your house is easily robbed.

A second iPhone exploit has been identified by security vendor F-Secure, which claims the new worm has botnet capability and is more threatening than its predecessor.

Venn, Fox will still gain the attention of the people as long as there are sports games, people will identify
Fox sports and Fox news as valid sources of information. About the only way to upset that apple cart is to start feeding christians to the lions; Then sports and politics and religion and politics will once again have to go their seperate ways…
