As I said, I am against naked shorting, but favor shorting pigs

Perhaps my issue with DeepCapture is the imperfect messenger of Byrne. I could not possibly care any less about him or Overstock -- he is just another dotcom CEO running a money losing retail operation -- for years now. And, he seems to have reporting problems with his many fired accountants.

IMO, the whole DC thing looks like a cover for his crappy performance as CEO. Plus, I know Herb Greenberg (personally) for years, and have lots of respect for him. His reporting has been top notch.

NOW Add to that this scraping incident -- how much more proof of scumbaggery do I need ? Life is too short to deal with jackasses, so to make mine easier, I mostly ignore Overstock, Byrne and Deepcapture from my universe. Not worth it, beneath notice, etc.

The Facebook scraping did get my attention. It puts them at level 6 (out of 10) on my Go Nuclear scale -- meaning, I have no interest in retaliating. Dont care -- yet.

Once they get to level 10, they become my new hobby. But we are not there yet . . .

As to the next 1000 words of your rant, GYOFB.

Your attack on Byrne is res ipsa as to your own lack of bona fides. Deepcapture refers to the capture of all operative systems by the corporate kleptocracy. I thought you were on the up and up-- but evidently, I was mistaken.

BR: We disagree, therefore I am a not on the up and up? Really, that is the extent of your intellectual capacity, and the argument you choose to make?

Your group scrapes all of my Facebook friends -- including a 12 year old nephew -- and I call you assclowns out on it -- and you call that an attack on Byrne?

More Facebook stuff that makes one question some of their policies, it's an interesting article on many levels:

-----------------------------

Health Insurers Caught Paying Facebook Gamers Virtual Currency To Oppose Reform Bill

Health insurance industry trade groups opposed to President Obama's health care reform bill are paying Facebook users fake money -- called "virtual currency" -- to send letters to Congress protesting the bill.

Here's how it's happening:

Facebook users play a social game, like "FarmVille" or "Friends For Sale." They get addicted to it. Eager to accelerate their progress inside the game, the gamers buy "virtual goods" such as a machine gun for "Mafia Wars." But these gamers don't buy these virtual goods with real money. They use virtual currency.
