Media Appearance: The Dylan Ratigan Show
>
I am on Dylan Ratigan’s new show today at 4pm, discussing the TBTF tax and other bail9iut related items.
Dylan’s show just moved to the 4pm this week (its an hour). This is a better slot for him, as he gets to do commentary versus breaking news in the early am.
I’ll post the video after it goes live . . .

Tell Dylan he yells too much. I can only take about 5-10 mins of his show before I get turned off due to the inanity.
Good take on the bank tax. One thing that nobody seems to be mentioning is that ALL banks benefited from the TARP program. The “bad” banks got bailed out, obviously, but it seems like everyone has forgotten that the “good” banks were starting to teeter as the credit markets froze up. Had there been no TARP, the “good” banks would have fallen to the infection as surely as the banks that deserved to fail.
TARP stopped the panic in the credit markets, and thus there is no such thing as a bank that didn’t benefit from TARP.

Geitner on bonuses, “I don’t know”, jezzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeee-ussssssss. It’s like the Mob, if they know they can screw you they will………they have and they are and they will continue.
I’ve said it before, a 100% black and white thinker.

The “too big to fail” label applies to Western institutions, while the “cabal and oligarchy” labels apply to Russia and others. Comparing Bush and Obama is like comparing an outhouse painted black with one painted white. There is a difference.
Praise be to the almighty, for in that father’s house are found the biggest bonuses, which will trickle down. Paraphrasing, “What’s good for the cabal is good for America.”

Sorry, I won’t watch that clown – way too much bombast and very little substance.

@torrie-amos…
Geithner in that interview looked more like a “Deer in Headlights” than even our poor Road Kill Deer before…
What’s WITH THAT GUY…and Why does Obama Love him. Well…Geithner’s father worked for Ford Foundationwhere Obama’s mother got her Grants as an Anthropologist to keep her work going. They have Big Ties. Just “Google it.” I’m too tired after day’s work to give you the link, right now but if you Google you will find it.
There’s “Kid Loyalty” there. It does make it a Sad Thing…that Obama cannot do this to a fellow legacy.

Okay…here’s a link about Ann Dunham/Geithner/Obama President and the PAST.
Not saying there’s anything Nefarious like the RW Crazies would do with this one…but it’s worth a look to understand “Loyalties.”

Day traders on politics: Obama loves the bankers. Obama is a socialist. Obama is an alien.

Hopefully you have told him that a tax on banks will simply be passed on to the banks customers, or if he is as savvy as he seems to be he will already know this and call it what it is: a stealth tax on the very same people who were forced to pay these Tribal savages their great great grandchildrens’ trust fund divvys.

Excellent choice to visit Dylan! He’s a bit over-the-top, but you can see its his pure passion for expressing ideas.

I cheered him (comment #15 March 28) as he burned through the day traders on Fast Money and thought his next time slot and political venue was a treat…
when bombastic Mark Haines would say his distended L-I-..I could cut to MSNBC before hearing how the garage the NYSE has become is the center of the Universe…..no cameras flying backward catching a walking commentator through the crowd back in the day. (I worked on the floor in 1963 and remember a real crowd). Now he is a welcome respite from Maria, the money searcher with the enhanced lips, chatting up the investas.
There is a growing list of good guys like Dylan, Elizabeth Warren, Elliot Spitzer, now Phil Angelides, and you BR that are biting deep at the legs of these mega-perps while shills like Joe Kernan spin the distraction and fed the misdirection having momentum on their side and the soaking dilution of evil absorption/acceptance like the perfectly slow-cooked frog.
It’s Redcoats and Patriots all over again. Jefferson would have loved it.
I suggest you display a list of both parties; be a nice parody of the uber-fraud Cramer’s Wall of Shame.

I did manage to catch the show yesterday–excellent job and take, my only complaint was it was too short. BR needs more playing time than that, Dylan!
