Hmmm… the host looks a bit like David Gregory. At least the host’s questions were more probing than Gregory’s.

Thanks for posting that, funniest thing I’ve come across in a bit. Apparently their names are Clarke & Dawe, youtube has lots of other clips of them doing these faux interviews. Some of the ones on Iraq and the Economy are just as good as this one!

Incredibly FUNNY….why don’t we have this kind of “Dead Pan Humor” in the USA…these days. Subtle…but has one “Rolling on Floor Laughing Ass Off” without the crap in our USA Humor these days.
Anyway…I love Jon Stewart, and the other stuff….but this one just had me with tears rolling down eyes laughing!
BTW: Check out their You Tube titled: “The Misinformed Australian”….I don’t have the link…just Google the Title, “You Tube” and it should come up. It’s another “RFLMAO.”
Thanks Barry….You made our Day, here! We needed this break!

More culture from down under! One of John Clarke’s famous characters was Fred Dag. An archetypal Kiwi farmer.
Comedy from my youth.

with respect to things “falling off” as well as an outstanding commentary on Things America (even more so today i’d posit than when it was done in 1981), check out this hilarious MUST VIEW ~4 min video from SCTV spoofing “Gene Shalit’s America” visiting the Le Grand Cochon Restaurant in Malibu at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u-1bWV8X9o

Thanks to all the “BR POSTERS” who gave the extra videos to watch. We’ve been having a great time with the humor…and this is just a fantastic collection of dry Aussie (Brit/Celtic) humor…that it reminds of us our parents long gone who would go after cynical/comedy routines about Politics/Financials all the time at family gatherings.
It’s good to have some “HUMOR” in these very uncertain times…and there’s so little of “subtle humor” in American Tee VEE these days that some diversity for “all stripes” is good to see. :-)’s As much as I love Colbert and Stewart….there needs to be more diversity for the rest of us who love subtlety.
