BR…You seem to be on a “Contrarian Roll” with the Newsweek “Uncle Sam’s Crotch” cover and now this about Roubini.
I hope the chart on Roubini and your instinct on Gross in Newsweek are spot on.
But, it does seem like maybe you are trying to convince yourself this is contrarian?
If “Happy Days are Here Again” for the Stock Market (not the rest of us)your tip to your readers is….just crack open a bottle and enjoy it while it lasts? ????? Caveat: If you got in close to March 09?

BTW…Checking out Cramer last night…”Dow 12,000.” Tonight he’s declaring the Bears, recalcitrant Money Mangers have been checked. He’s got a “Detour Sign” he’s holding up and raving on with his usual crap. He says there “will be a housing shortage in 2011!” Okay…I just turned him off because, to me, he’s crazy!
Is Cramer someone you would declare a Contrarian? He’s saying “Bears are trying to scare you off.”
To me his ravings are a sign something is going on. He’s trying to get folks like me to “Buy..Buy..Buy!”
Desperation on his part which says something bad comes this way….so he can take his profits in his “Charitable Trust.” HA!

Cramer ought to agree to take himself off the air if there is a housing shortage in 8 months.
Give hime 15 months, and if he’s wrong he dies. Figuratively speaking.

“Flip”….Remember when some of us were figuring the “Expose” of Cramer would have made him “toast” on CNBC back when “Clusterstock, Zero Hedge, etc” were going after his bizarre calls.
But…he’s still there …..and so are those who brought us this crisis!
Is there ANY JUSTICE? Apparently NOT…. But, to be bitter and rueful doesn’t put money in your wallet. Better to “go with the flow”..even if you are in fear of being taken by a Third Bubble…
Or…you stay on sidelines…(if you are not a trader) and still have some “cautionary coins” you managed to save jingling in the pocket. ????? Who knows…it’s all very strange.

Library of Congress Acquires Entire Twitter Archive
April 15th, 2010
Via: Library of Congress:
“Have you ever sent out a “tweet” on the popular Twitter social media service? Congratulations: Your 140 characters or less will now be housed in the Library of Congress.
That’s right. Every public tweet, ever, since Twitter’s inception in March 2006, will be archived digitally at the Library of Congress. That’s a LOT of tweets, by the way: Twitter processes more than 50 million tweets every day, with the total numbering in the billions.
We thought it fitting to give the initial heads-up to the Twitter community itself via our own feed @librarycongress. (By the way, out of sheer coincidence, the announcement comes on the same day our own number of feed-followers has surpassed 50,000. I love serendipity!)
We will also be putting out a press release later with even more details and quotes. Expect to see an emphasis on the scholarly and research implications of the acquisition. I’m no Ph.D., but it boggles my mind to think what we might be able to learn about ourselves and the world around us from this wealth of data. And I’m certain we’ll learn things that none of us now can even possibly conceive.”

“…Your cellphone can already tell you where to find the nearest Starbucks or the most convenient subway station. But it might soon be smart enough to alert you to a toxic threat during your morning commute or coffee break, thanks to a new plan from the Department of Homeland Security.
The last time we heard about cellphones and terrorism, it was an appeal from the NYPD to shut off cell communication during an attack. Now, Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate want to use cellphones to detect the very threats that might be coordinated using wireless chit-chat. Their new program, called Cell-All, would embed inexpensive, chemical-sniffing microchips into cellular telephones. If a dangerous level of air-based toxin is detected, the phone would issue a warning ring (or vibration) to alert the owner and send a message to a centralized military monitoring station.
And, since the vast majority of Americans carry cellphones wherever they go, the program would use aggregated reports of toxin detection within a small area. If hundreds of cellphones in one location start flooding the alert system, the military knows they’ve got a serious threat to contend with. Detection, transmission and analysis would take around 60 seconds, according to a press release from the Directorate…”
