Initial Jobless Claims for the week ended Feb 18th totaled 351k, 4k less than expected but the prior week was revised up by 3k to 351k. The 4 week average did fall to 359k from 366k, the lowest since Mar '08. Continuing Claims fell by 52k to the lowest since Aug '08. Also, Extended Benefits fell a net 69k. Bottom line, the data still points to a labor market that continues to improve however lumpy the process feels for many. ...

As teenagers we laugh at things which later in life as adults we see as morally disturbing…..
One can learn a LOT about a persons moral character by what they consider entertainment and humor.
Like the Romans feeding Christians to the lions.

Glenn Beck is really funny, if inadvertently, but Lewis Black is funnier. There are certainly “conservatives” (depending on definition) who any serious person should attend to, but Beck is not one of them. Having said that, I have to give it to anybody who never attended college who is capable of making serious money with the nonsense he peddles on television. As P.T. Barnum said, “There’s a sucker born ever minute” and as Tom Waits says, “You just happened to be comin’ along.”

If I get someone to say Nazi in a debate I throw my hand up and say ” Yeah, I win.”
If I’m debating a bimbo I start using all the lame Nazi arguments then I watch as their brain starts to freeze up trying to work around all the dumb lines they’re used to throwing at other people.
