lol-Been here ten years and have never heard of this place. I just googled it and all I get is a progress bar…

Enjoy SD, we’re supposed to get some good sets (waves) this weekend. They’re saying 8-12ft. So get your wetsuit out, and meet me at Lajolla shores in the morning!

Check out the venerable Belly Up Tavern for live music in a friendly environment:

Nada Surf is playing on Monday, May 24.

Get to the North County if you have a chance. The downtown Gaslamp area is OK, but eating a nice meal seated outside in say, Encinitas, on a nice evening cannot be beat.

Same here…but I found all the sites TBP is linked to. Enjoy!

I do not believe it actually exists but what a great idea. You could have a launch menu a dinner menu and a starter menu. Placed in a high tech area, this place would be gold.

Looks a lot like the Emerald Inn upper west side.

I know you are not sitting there in that “Lonely site”….so figure you are out there looking for FUN…

Go for the Seafood…and the “Coronado” has some interesting stuff…

BTW…Sheesh this place looks like the “Last Chance Cafe! No way you are (with a left over hangover) going to be in that GODFORSAKINPLACE!

    Barry,

I think it is time for some comparable analysis of the hotties in Las Vegas versus the hotties here in San Diego. Some good places to conduct research would be either the Ivy Hotel in Downtown or Bar West in Pacific Beach.

I know you are happily married to Mrs. TBP, so hit me up if you need someone to dig a little deeper on the data set.

The rest of you San Diegans, IF this place existed, you know it would be in Ocean Beach.

    Stumbled out of there-once.

Better than ‘The Jungle Room’ at Cheetah’s, not that I’d have any idea…

Drank a few bottles of Irish Corona before… quite good. I remember someone starting this bar, they had to restart it several times before they actually opened for business. And, right down the street from the Progress Bar is the Space Bar, it has very cool countertops… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTwcageiJnM
