Is Oil Spill Destined for East Coast?
New supercomputer studies suggest it is “very likely” that ocean currents will carry oil from the Deep Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico around Florida and up along thousands of miles of the U.S. Eastern seaboard this summer, researchers announced. WSJ’s Lee Hotz joins the News Hub with more.

Not to be a downer, but isn’t the pattern showing movement towards the N. Atantic? The Cod Fisheries? At least Jones Beach won’t be hit, a business plus for the NYC Metro Area! Maybe summer tourists will stay up North here, we need that money too! This should happen every year! It will be great for us. Anyhow, who even cares about a bunch of dumb sealife.

- by far the most moronic comment I have ever read on the internet, so congratulations George.

Have you three fools, Singer, Barry, and george, no concept of the web of life? This is killing so many levels of flora and fauna in the food chain that everyone (including those in your puny part of the planet) will be affected. You’ll have to eat your words since there won’t be any food to eat, water to drink, or even air to breathe if you morons and others like you don’t wake and quit being so selfish! At least make an effort to understand what’s going on.

George was being (obviously) sarcastic — And as to the Singer and I, that is an inside joke you are not privvy to.
As tot he rest, we have been discussing this issue on the blog for almost 2 months now. Try not to be so sanctimonious — that sort of starchy political correctness is what dissuades possible supporters from joining your humorless cause.
