    Looks like their history of hair cuts was inversely proportional to their wealth.

    Ah, if we’d known then what we know now! 1970 is particularly troubling – the disintegration of their hairstyles mirrored the disintegration of the group and, perhaps, their individual personalities. What a gift they gave us!

    They never realized how great their own music was. My evidence for that statement is the short piece at the end of one of their albums: “She came in through the bathroom window.” Pure self-ridicule. Sad.

    LOL, 1970, my first date and when I get home, my Mom tells me that the boy seemed nice but I couldn’t date him again unless he got his hair cut. Thus started my teenage years of lying and sneaking about EVERYTHING…
