I love Jack’s music and how he became the antithesis to what was a stagnant punk rock scene for surfers and skaters. Also according to his website 100% of profit from this tour (and also from the last tour in ’08) are donated to charity. Jack is a quiet trailblazer, the best kind.

i like MSG as a venue for high energy shows (Phish, Springsteen)… maybe Jack Johnson is too laid back for MSG?

@dumont: my kids attended a concert in Santa Barbara a few years ago where JJ announced that the concert proceeds were going to local ocean conservation efforts. very classy …
