Apparently, with Howard Stern on XM Sirius, Keene is now the King of All Media . . .

Tom’s a real renaissance man — I remember when he served as governor of New Jersey a while back. His voice seems to have deteriorated a bit since then, though.

Didn’t that Keene do a real bang-up job on the 9-11 Commission?!…After all that sturm and drang left out completely any analysis of the miracle free-fall collapse of WTC 7. The easy answer was that he is more politician than physicist or engineer. Maybe it is only the ghosts I still feel are still there asking?

  3. machinehead Says:

Tom’s a whiz on markets, but gravitational physics may have lain outside his comfort zone.

I still think the brain drain from Science for Fame and Glory big time to data-sniffing Financial Engineers for Money and aMorals was a mighty loss indeed. Vietnam ate the money in the 60′s then Reagen in the 80′s gave it to the FinWhizes after the crude oil monster escaped into the wild in the 70′s and took Gold with it.
