I want what he’s smoking! November will be around the time the market starts to drop most likely from sovereign debt. Thinking that we have even the most remote possibility of beginning to address the debt problem is like closing your eyes, clicking your heels three times and thinking you’ll be in Kansas before the morning!

Someone needs to dhow that idiot the NFIB survey today, uh small business IS NOT hiring Jeff because they have NO CUSTOMERS.

As for the election in November and his anticipated republican gains does he think health care will be repealed with a small house majority or does he he 60 republicans senators? What an idiot.

So if the market goes up between now and the spring it will be due to Republican electoral successes.

Unless of course it drops, which will obviously be due to the Democrats.

    Prior to 2008……….I’d believe this.

I’m on Mr. Miagi’s side on this one………….”walk on right side of road – safe, walk on left side of road – safe, walk in middle of road – get squished, just like grape”

Both sides will be jockeying for ’12 as soon as the congress is sworn in. I also see a potential where both parties are stakeholders in collapse – as long as they can blame it on the other party. Plus, no one will want to do anything drastic or creative – any solution will be a product of group think and political correctness.

I think congress will make it worse.

I had some bacon and eggs this morning. Eggs came from the hens, the old fashioned way.
But the bacon…it flew through my kitchen window, sliced by Odin himself from his Golden Pig, who, as everyone knows, flies at will.

PS to PETA and bleeding hearts: The Golden Pig is a godly creature, hence it doesn’t feel any pain, is immortal and regenerate his body instantly.

    p.s.

Given today’s fed statement….perhaps the Fed will attempt to be apolitical as possible. This is Bernanke’s hedge. Didn’t think about that initially……..but, it could prove potent for maybe a month or so.

Media says watch the balance sheet……as, the zen master says…….”we’ll see”

I would expect the Fed to chill this post election. Just to check which way the winds are blowing.

That said……..In this scenario, we would see new highs in stocks. Financials look nice here. Put a stop below the last low on BAC. Not much risk in that.
