“Obama had a once in a century occasion to turn this country for the better and he blew it!”
Word!
Even today, the amazing lack of political competence of this guy never cease to amaze me.

I’m sorry but I think Charlie Ferguson and his film are less than stellar; and this Charlie Rose interview is incredibly weak. I wish he had asked Ferguson how he could possibly have made Barney Frank one of the heroes of the economic meltdown? And why was he constantly interviewing the French minister of finance? Sure she had a cute accent but I wondered if he just couldn’t get access to anybody better. I found myself checking my watch regularly as the movie went on. For movie-goers who don’t read the biz pages they got the impression of in-depth reporting. Too bad. It was mostly sensationalist, easy to do with a story so shocking. The only highlight: the interviews with the b-school professors which showed an unexpected layer of conflicts of interest.

I guess we’ll have to wait a while longer for THE definitive movie/book on the financial meltdown of 2008 because there must still be a few innings to be played, nope, it ain’t over yet!
