You are good with names BR. What is a site called that offers commentary, but doesn’t offer comments?
For instance Timmay and Makiw have what is referred to as blogs. Is there another way to describe these? They are not equal with blogs that offer comments, not even close. I think of blogs as n way conversation, not one way. Can we or do we or should we differentiate the two types?

Where’s the mention of “I’m holding out for $6.5 million” blogger?

I inherited a blog, that ran for about eight months, whose sole purpose was for people to talk back and forth about pretty much anything they wanted (though primarily “equity trading”). In fairly short order, they all started bitching at each other, which drove half of them off. Then the other half decided that freedom just wasn’t free enough, so they went off too.

What category of blog is that?

I also have a blog somewhere called “no more nonsense.” It’s completely empty (and will probably remain so).

What kind of blog is that?

Something’s missing: The AstroTurf Blogger, or as China calls it: “The 50 cent blogger”.
