That’s one big nut and almost equivalent to the size of German GDP, the world’s fourth largest economy!  It also illustrates the law of compounding recurring revenue, the goal of every good business on earth.

    If you drink a generic cola do you pay a little bit in patent rights to CocaCola ? I guess I shouldn’t assume that the patent would be Cokes. Maybe its Pepsi or Royal Crown.

    Difference is that Superbowl advertisement produces no wealth… only transfer payments. Manufactured goods exports generate real wealth for German people.

    @socal – it’s cute that you think both that 1) advertising expenditures are transfer payments; 2) German GDP is exclusively composed of exports of manufactured goods.
