Bizarre deception by Fox News via boingboing, running the 2010 crowd noise booing Ron Paul’s 2011 win here.
At the 4:40 mark, you can hear the actual 2011 crowd — and they cheer Ron Paul for a full minute:
When reporting that Ron Paul had defeated mainstream Republican Mitt Romney in the CPAC straw poll, Fox News superimposed archive footage of people booing from last year’s event.
Bonus Fox misbehavior! When a liberal blogger asked Fox News reporter Jesse Watters for comment on recent claims from an insider that the network makes stuff up, Watters ignored the question and mocked the interviewer’s cheap camera. After MSNBC ran the clip, which makes Watters appear evasive and smarmy, Fox produced heavily edited versions of the clip for its own shows, claimed their man was ambushed (he was in fact approached at the same heavily-attended conservative event) and praised its reporter for ‘trash talking’ the interviewer.

I watched the other video linked in the quote and am surprise the FNC reporter didn’t just come out and deny Fox makes things up. How hard would that have been? To me, it’s pretty much a tacit acknowledgement they do. Which, of course, is confirmed by the video clip of the boos for Ron Paul at this years CPAC. Fox News is a clown show.

Ron Paul is not a mainstream Conservative who wishes to keep the status quo intact by deceiving the American public. I hope somebody files charges against Fox for their brand of fair and balanced reporting.
The fact that they have high ratings goes to show how ignorant and easily persuaded the American public is.

Hm, this reminds me of the CPAC clip were Trump trashed Ron Paul… The crowd seemed pretty unhappy about that.

Fix News takes its orders from the banking/corporate sector of the Republican right. Ron Paul’s ideas, however unworkable in practice, attract significant support. But paul’s views are heretical by right wing corporate/banking standards. Corporate America wants big government, under its control. It does not want small government. Remember that much of right wing banking America is made up of “liberal” Democrats.

It is quiet disturbing that our news stations and journalist are so active in sending out miss information to the public. What happened to indifference for a journalist??? Who can we trust to receive truthful correspondence?? I think a lot of people need to be fired and a good cleaning of house needs to be done on all levels within all of our news broadcasters. Shame on all of you. We tune in to hear an unbiased reporting with no hidden agendas. You have let us down. You failed the oaths of truth. Go get another job!! You dont deserve a penny and I say this to the ones on the bottom of the line to the CEO’s .
