They turn left in front of my house all the time.

I do live in a commercial area and knew about the no left rule. It’s a great idea.

UPS damn near invented time-and motion studies. They know how long it takes (or should take) the deliverer to walk the 30 feet to knock on the door.

“No Left” has been in the efficiency book for a long time, especially in cities.

Try it yourself when you’re in a big town.

BTW, I worked on the ground for the Census. The mantra was (and is) Right Right Right.

I assume that in Great Britain it’s Left Left Left.

It’s also why traffic circles or round-abouts work better than our retarded 4 way stop intersections. In a traffic circle, every turn you make is a right turn, even when you end up going left. You only have to worry about traffic coming from one-direction, and the traffic is always flowing, rarely coming to a complete stop.
