Clint Eastwood “Man with No Name” Trilogy Blu-Ray $24

Sergio Leone’s spaghetti Westerns, starring Clint Eastwood, were a stunning remake of the genre. The stylized films were thought of as “shockingly violent” at the time, paving the way for the ultra-violence of today’s films and video games.

Everything from the violence to the theme music to the pacing to the shooting locations in Italy made these movies unique amongst Westerns.

You can stream these from Netflix, but for the film buffs out there, these are classic additions to the library. I like Fistfull Of Dollars as well as For A Few Dollars More, but I really love The Good, The Bad And The Ugly (IMDB). It is a fantastic film that Quentin Tarantino calls “the best-directed movie of all time.”

Amazon is running one of their one day specials: Man with No Name Trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars / For a Few Dollars More / The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly) [Blu-ray] $24.

Its a smart idea to dig stuff out of the back catalog, discount it and expose a new generation to it.
