    Learning from failure? How about the mainstream economic profession – when are they going to learn? Why are we all acting like sheep scared of our national debt? Does anybody even knows what it is?

    Government debt of a currency issuer is the currency user’s savings as a matter of double entry accounting. It’s just a digital account corresponding to all currency users’ savings in banknotes, deposits, and treasuries.
