They need to triple the fine for each subsequent offense. If corporations are indeed people than prosecute them as such. Ban them from the business, take away their broker dealer license.

There needs to be a Gulag for lawyers, preferably in some cold, dark place where audio is limited to testimonials of those who were screwed, gutted and destroyed by shark legal teams with agendas and mega-millions in compensation..

At the rate they are sucking the life out of many entities in the US, the idea years hence may not be farfetched.

Is there anything else than litigation that would bring Wall Street to its knees? Because it sure won’t be the tandem of Brotha Obysmal and the bought-n-paid-for CONgress who shall do so.

What’s that you say? The voters?

They could…but only if we get into Depression 2.0 and the upper middle class get savagely hit by it. Otherwise, it’s a no-go. American voters spend a grand total of five minutes thinking about who they’ll vote for.

Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand
Workin’ in the dark against your fellow man
But as sure as God made black and white
What’s done in the dark will be brought to the light

You can run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Sooner or later God’ll cut you down
Sooner or later God’ll cut you down

@theexpertisin: Nothing new here: “The first thing we do,” said the character in Shakespeare’s Henry VI, is “kill all the lawyers.”
