If there’s one pervasive thing about Japanese culture that I remember from my 2 years in Tokyo, it’s the competence and efficiency. I think these pictures capture that really well. Juxtapose these pictures with the Katrina cleanup and the ground zero recovery 6 months post event and you will really understand just how impressive this is.
