This Small Blue Marble
NASA calls the photo below (via Good) “the most detailed true-color image of the entire Earth to date.”
It is a spectacular reminder of the small blue marble called planet Earth, and what we humans can accomplish when we cooperate and work together towards a common goal.
Regardless of your beliefs system or chosen faith, I like to think of Christmas as a day to reflect on thoughts about peace on earth and goodwill towards man. Photographs like the one below are a gentle reminder we should do that all year.

This one puts it all in perspective, and is an even better reminder.

Thanks Barry,
It’s a good time for all to also reflect on the fact that we are ALL crewmembers on this spaceship and should be conducting ourselves as such.

So, being the planet is so small, it wouldn’t be a good idea to allow the Arctic Methane Leak to not only continue, but to get worse.
Keep in mind the Nightmare Scenario that’s now possible.
A Lightning Strike in the Arctic could set off a Methane Firestorm.
It’s now time for an Arctic-Nasa Parasol space program,
and a Global Shutdown of Tarsand Operations.

What’s a good stock to buy if the Arctic Lights Up?

I used to live in US and now I live in Europe, it is amazing how the maps are focused on US when printed in US and on Europe when printed in Europe.
