Exactly with this addition, the “glory days” – 1980 – 2000, when the Dow went from 800 to 13,000 are gone, gone, gone and are not a good frame of reference. And try to imagine how long it will take for housing starts to get above 1M/ year and you’ve got the date of the real recovery.

Also, imagine being one of the crowd of mortgage brokers, securitizers, CDS salesfolks, credit raters and everyone else who played a part, and knows it in creating this economic tragedy and getting away with it. They are still out there and still a threat.

The real threat comes from the CentaMillionaire$ and Billionaire$ who employed – “the crowd of mortgage brokers, securitizers, CDS salesfolks, credit raters and everyone else who played a part”.
However – what everyone including BR chooses to ignore is these same Malignant Narcissistic Greedy unregulated sons of thousand fathers also own all the Politicians!
Clearly – the people never needed CentaMillionAire$ and Billionaire$. Civil society is being destroyed as their corruption goes on and on.

Interesting view that Shilling has. I would add that the economic wounds need immediate attention today, else the flies will leave their maggots behind for a long feast.
