I wonder — and this is a chick vs egg question — whether networks notice the viewer demographics and cater to them … Fox being mindlessly far right-wing conservative, and CNBC and Bloomberg (no slouches in the babes-on-camera dept) focusing on financial news (a male-dominated viewer demographic segment of TV) … and are males really this enamored with the weather, or is it that the (local) networks are trying to draw male viewers?
I shudder to imagine the day when a pleasant young woman delivers the news in a pantsuit …
